Sevier County Humane SocietyOne of my dogs came from the Sevier County Humane Society and I just love him to pieces!  I try to support the Humane Society every chance I get so that more dogs like him can find great homes!

About the Sevier County Humane Society

The Sevier County Humane Society has been helping lost, abandoned, surrendered, and homeless pets since 1974.  The shelter receives between 4500 and 5000 pets each year!  Their shelter has housed all sorts of animals, including horses, chickens, and iguanas, just to name a few!

Buy Local Sale

StanlieOn Saturday, May 21st, come to the Sevier County Fairgrounds to check out the 3rd annual Sevier County Humane Society Buy Local Sale.  Don’t miss this opportunity to find hidden treasures at this giant rummage sale!  Last year I found some great treasures!

If you are looking to “downsize” and not accumulate more clutter, you can help by donating your unwanted items.  Bring your items to the Sevier County Fairgrounds beginning Sunday, May 15 through Friday, May 20th.

Donate

This private non-profit organization operates solely on donations and community support.  In addition to providing items for the Buy Local Sale, you can also help by providing items for the dogs, cats and other animals at the shelter.  The shelter is always in need of Purina dry small kibble puppy/dog, cat/kitten food, paper towels, hay, old cotton socks, and milkbones.  Items needed for the shelters enrichment program include: plastic shower hooks, peanut butter, and laser light pens.
